After two (2) years of being stuck inside their homes, students can attend their classes in school. With the gradual decrease in COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, the Department of Education began accommodating the idea of kids returning to school. Last year, both public and private schools tested the waters in allowing vaccinated students to go back and attend their classes onsite, and with the success of months of piloting for the face-to-face sessions, students are now fully allowed to do so, vaccinated or not.

SPCC’s blended learning modality has allowed the students to safely be back to school in different schedules of the onsite face-to-face sessions. Last August 15, 2022, the CBHTM and CIT Department welcomed their students and consistently conducted face-to-face classes. Each department of Basic Education, from Grade School to Senior High School, also successfully welcomed their students back to school last September with a series of programs and activities planned carefully by their teachers to ensure that students feel motivated and safe inside the school. As a safety precaution, SPCC strictly follows the protocols set by the IATF to lessen the risk of infection inside the school vicinity. Alcohol dispensers and automatic thermometers are placed in different areas to ensure that students regularly check their temperatures and consistently apply alcohol to disinfect.

This achievement marks the start of finally adapting blended learning to the normal learning process from here on out.
